A park below New Hope, Pennsylvania, named after my great Grandmother’s family. It is a lovely place with paths where you can walk for miles. This is a true wildflower park and you can buy some at sales during the year.
The tower is supposed to commemorate the place where Washington spied the Hessians across the river, before he surprised them that Christmas during the Revolution.
My Grandfather was a mounted guard here for some time. I had a picture of him; he looked so handsome in his uniform on horseback.
