The Old Man

He lies there helpless, old and frail,
He speaks his last plead before he leaves the earth.
As his body becomes the ashes, nature and grass,
He has said goodbye to the ones he loves.

His pain he left behind. He leaves with a smile.
He succeeded in life.
He fulfilled his wishes. He fulfilled his dreams.

There was nothing left for him to stay down here and do,
There was plenty up in heaven and more family to join too.

No anger in the air, he is no longer suffering,
He has left, gone, is at peace, is strong.

He loved you very much.
