This little building which may look familiar in design was one of my first subjects when I became interested in photography. As I’m relocating, it seemed fitting to revisit it now when, I hope, my skills have grown somewhat.
This is Atlanta’s Flatiron. It’s actually a few years older than its more famous sibling in NYC. It was Atlanta’s second skyscraper, built in 1897. Today, it’s Atlanta’s oldest surviving skyscraper, although long dwarfed by its neighbors.
