Artist's Description

Of all Dublin’s landmarks, the historic Ha’Penny Bridge was the one that seemed to stand out most for me. And that’s saying a lot in a city that is simply historic by the mile. Dublin s packed with beautiful architecture, but the Ha’Penny Bridge is one of those subjects I keep coming back to. I think it’s the super graceful arch.

It’s been over a century since anyone paid half a penny to cross this pedestrian bridge over the Liffey and although it’s not its official name, everyone still calls it the Ha’Penny Bridge. I love that it’s so much a character in its own right that the official name is moot. Don’t you?

This is a beautiful reminder of time in Dublin or simply because you love cool Irish heritage.
