A fantastic part of Australia’s wild coastline. Waves crash against the rocks and storms roll in. This rugged coast begs exploration. Sunset April 2008._Pentax K20D, DA*16-50 F2.8, 16mm F18 3sec, ND Grad Filter, Tripod

great composition and colours Mark
It certainly does Mark. Very nice.
Cheers, Bruce. I could spend weeks on this coastline, sadly only had one day in this instance. Will be back, hopefully with more stormy weather.
What a beautiful scene! Love the differences between the cliffs in the background with it’s rugged and rough rock, and the foreground with it’s rolled smooth shapes….
Thanks for that. The rocks are certainly spectacular here, needed to be very careful carrying the equipment!
thanks for your interest scott
whoa that’s close to the incoming! and not an easy place to get a tripod steady either. Great work. I wasn’t aware of this place before seeing this shot and now find it is in my home state. It’s going on the Photography Bucket list.
Thanks Peter. Yes, this is an amazing spot that i only had a few hours at but will spend a lot more time here in April, hopefully with the same stormy conditions!!
Top stuff. Brilliant rockscape.
