The beautiful texture of a rough stone wall in Karakul.

Both the granite boulders, and the mud used for mortar, are materials found in the direct environment of Karakul, high on the plateau of the Pamirs. Not an ‘important’ wall, as it has not even be plastered, let alone painted. But beautiful all the same!
