Brickwork-and-metal detail above the left window of the original building of Meelfabriek Friso (Flour factory Friso). The building has some hints of Art Deco style, of which the panels above the window and door on either side are especially lovely.
But there is more – I’ll want to return to this building another time!
The building is located on the Eendrachtskade N.Z. in Groningen, Netherlands.Although the tiled name panel looks like 1920-ish to me, the building design is from 1915 (see below – of course it’s possible the tiles were added a little later).
