This is a shot from a commercial airplane over Turks and Caicos Islands, near the Bahamas. The image captured the underwater sand formations as seen from a distance of 12,000 feet. The image was captured through the transparent material of the airplane window, so could not prevent some glare. However, it is interesting to see a view of the bottom of the ocean with its sand formations and natural geomorphology. Nature is so exuberant and magnificent we should make great efforts to preserve and conserve our natural resources while we still can. Shot was taken with a Canon 7D.
