Samos (Greek: Σάμος) is a Greek island in the North Aegean sea, south of Chios, north of Patmos and the Dodecanese, and off the coast of Asia Minor, from which it is separated by the 1.6 kilometres-wide Mycale Strait.
SAMOS TOWN is located on the east part of the island and it’s the capital of Samos Island.
Agios Spyridonas is the church where the council of Samos under Th. Sofoulis declared Samos unification with Greece. In the temple there is also bust of A. Pashalis owner of the museum and the temple.
