Artist's Description

The Carnaby Cockatoo is one of Western Australia’s most beautiful and
charismatic native birds.

This bird was keeping up with his fellow flock of 300.

I have published this photo on Redbubble to raise money for my campaign to help save one of Perth’s few remaining urban bushland corridors- Underwood Avenue bushland. In Underwood Avenue bushland, Carnaby’s Cockatoos rely on the Banksia, Jarrah and Tuart bushland for feeding, socializing and probably breeding in the near future. The bushland is a critical ecological link between Kings Park and Bold Park. Carnaby’s Cockatoos are an endangered species and without action will become extinct in our lifetimes.

30c in every dollar you spend from the sale of these Rebubble prints goes towards our volunteer run campaign to save Underwood Avenue Bushland. (The rest goes to Redbubble).
