This fresco is in the Parish Church of St Martin in Bled.

The present Neo Gothic church consectrated to St Martin was built in 1905 on the site of the previous Gothic church dating from the 15th century though the very first chapel there was erected before the year 1000. The current church was designed by Fredrich von Schmidt who also designed the Votive Church in Vienna.

The church was adorned with frescoes by painter Slavko Pengov between 1933 and 1937.
