(1) W&N watercolour on Bockingford 300gsm . November and March to May is Cosmos time in Tarlton (Gauteng, South Africa) and one of the sure signs of Autumn – always a great delight, these beauties prefer dry, hot climates and grow best in poor soil. In South Africa you find them growing profusely along gravel country roads.
.Looking at my little garden.. just a while ago… I saw a flower blooming and I love it so. It’s tissue petals blowing in the breeze that is so light… The ferny leaves all moving and buds so very tight. Cosmos is it’s name and pink my favourite one… A pretty garden treasure in the morning sun. — Unknown
