It was taken in an ancient town of Suzdal in Russia last winter, that was particularly cold. I believe it was around -25! It’s horrible but on the other hand such temperature provides with wonderful lighting for taking photos. Suzdal is one of those so-called “conservated” towns, where people try to preserve traditional russian architecture and way of living. All the houses are wooden, like this one, and you cant find a tall building at all. There’re plenty of monasteries and churches in this comparatively small town. It is mostly touristic, i guess life is pretty boring for the locals. It was really really quite on that day, almost no one outside, i guess due to the cold. But for me it was like heaven compared to crazy Moscow, where i actually live. All in all, i enjoyed it pretty much.
