Maneno is a Swahili word meaning "many words" Neno = word | Maneno = words | Manenos = this is Swanglish for "many many words!" Sometimes we make up words that are a mix of English and Swahili to add emphasis to the meaning. These words we call Swanglish! Words are powerful, in every language. I love the unique nuances of culture that are built into languages and I create art to celebrate that with words.
