Artist's Description

High on the downs looking out over the English Channel is St Catherines Oratory, Isle Of Wight. UK. Built around 1326 the tower is all the remains of the original building and was used as a beacon until the 17th century. It is known locally as the Pepperpot. The tower is still a landmark and can be seen for miles in all directions.
