On September 11th at SPNCHI/CHICON 2016, Richard Speight Jr. addressed the panel audience before JDM.
"The greatest thing about the Supernatural fandom is not that they support a TV show, but that they support each other. That's what you take out of this room. That is what we as a collective force do, and that is what I call on you to do when you leave this room. Take the happy energy, the collective shared spirit that you find in the community of this show and take it to your communities outside of this show. Make being different, being unique, being special, make it the norm. Make it okay. _Insist_ on kindness. _Insist_ on doing the right thing. 9/11 was a terrible, terrible terrible event that was spawned by a hate, a hate that was spread and continues to spread on the internet.
_Do not_ spread hate. _Do not_ be hateful. Be kind or be quiet. That is my request for all of Supernatural. And if we do it, we can change the world, and I know we can. It starts here, people. It starts with Supernatural. It starts with _family_ and family don't end in blood."
Moved by Richard's words, I chose to push forward this positive energy and try and share this message with the world. *ALL PROFITS FROM BE KIND OR BE QUIET ITEMS WILL BE DONATED TO RANDOM ACTS.* This is not an official RA fundraiser, I am not affiliated with RA.
