Artist's Description

There is something very special about the way the dropplets of rain form on the petals of these beautiful flowers. They seem to just hang there threatening to fall at any moment, with the slightest of breezes, their very exisitance will come to a crashing hault as they tumble to the ground and trun to mud. After saying this about the humble rain drop, it’s life really is far from over as it nurishes the roots of this amazing plant, helping it to give life to the world that surrounds it. This Nasturtium grows in my backyard and gives so much joy, as the flowers attract a range of birds , bugs and insects, all of which must fight for their right to feast from the bounty that this plant provides. I too havest from it’s produce, adding it to my salads and stirfrys.
So you see, these dropplets are anything but just beautiful to look at!
I do hope you enjoy them as much as I!!!
