M. Helena Vieira da Silva – (Portugal 1908 – Francia 1992) was one of the most important European painters in the second half of the twentieth century.
She studied drawing and painting at an early age. Travel through Europe and living in Paris, where she first studied sculpture and later painting with Dufresne, Waroquier and Friesz, among others.
