The layers of the sun in this dark image remind me of an onion. Perhaps a strange comparison, but it appears that the sun could be peeled. It also looks like it could have been hammered around the edges as metal is hammered. The circles from the center core glow outward and upwards against an otherwise dark tree-lined background. I find this spacey work to be striking to the amateur eye… mine.

This photograph reminds me of the many wonders of God.
