This is one of my favourite places along the waterfront of Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The rocky outcrop is a coveted place for picnics, and I’ve posted a couple taken in summer. So when I saw it a few days ago it looked so forlorn I had to take another shot. The table and chair are empty, the Olympic mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca are cold, and the sky seems to be warning of another storm yet to come off the Pacific.
But I loved the mood and ambience, so there you are!
