The black rolling clouds of a few minutes earlier had started to break up, the sun was coming out again, and Lake Maligne was still, calm and serene. This was taken from an area reached by climbing up a bluff and making my way through rather dense trees and undergrowth, but I wanted to try for another different perspective of this wonderful lake and the Rocky Mountains.
