Bow Lake is in Banff National Park, Alberta,Canada, and is easily seen from the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) which traverses the Canadian Rocky Mountain backbone through Jasper and Banff National Parks. The lake is one of the most beautiful in the park system, but not at all crowded. The turquoise colour of the water denotes a glacier-fed lake. There’s a gray Jay sitting on top of the right-hand tree and I think it was an eagle flying to the left. I’m judging that from the white head so could be wrong.
