Bow Lake is in Banff National Park, Alberta,Canada, and is easily seen from the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) which traverses the Canadian Rocky Mountain backbone through Jasper and Banff National Parks. The lake is one of the most beautiful in the park system, but not at all crowded. In this view,Bow Glacier can be seen in the distance, though not very impressive as this was taken in early September,2009. The turquoise colour of the water denotes a glacier-fed lake.
