Too much good news!

What a fabulous weekend this is shaping up to be so far~

I had my latest art reception last night for my solo show at a local cafe. It went very well as I sold both prints and ACEO art cards, and there are some people inquiring into purchasing the original artwork on display (Minerva or Fairytale might be going to a new home, but we shall see!). Then, while I was at the reception, Lord Masque met with a gallery owner around the corner from the cafe and showed them some of my prints (the sneaky bugger!), and they wanted to meet with me afterward. So I met with them after the reception and showed them some of my originals and now they want to sell some of my artwork at the gallery. Whooo! THEN I ran into an old friend of mine, a former coworker, who has since established a marketing / public relations business and who I may talk to about working with him to promote my art. So everyone keep your collective fingers crossed for me! :)

THEN When I got home, I found found out I sold both of my current Ebay auctions to different buyers, and an anonymous buyer just purchased my Mosquito tee here as well.

Today I woke up and saw that my band’s new live album has finally started hitting the internet. You can now download it on iTunes, eMusic and shortly though Amazon.com as well. Other online distribution will follow…. but for now, if you are curious look up “The Red Masque” in iTunes. Our live album is called “Stars Fall on Me” (though there appears to be a typo in the system as they are showing up titled Stars FELL on me". but the music is the same. If you are a member of eMusic, you can also get a copy for dirt cheap there Some of you will recognize my artwork “Falling Leaves” which is used as the cover art.

So I am waiting for the other shoe to drop as too much nice stuff has happened this weekend and I am suspicious by nature ;)

Anyway, Iplease don’t take this journal entry as a gloat. I am just wanted to share my happy news :)

I took some photos at the reception last night too, but i’ll upload them later. I have to run out and pick up some more packaging supplies to mail out some art to customers.
