Artist's Description

This Gothic monument to the memory of Sir Walter Scott (who died in 1832) was built in 1840-46 and can be found in Princes street gardens, Edinburgh. A few of the guys at the bubble meet last weekend were brave enough to climb to the top, I however prefered to keep my feet on the ground! The Scott Monument is an Historic Scotland Category A Listed Building, taken with canon 50d and sigma 18-50 lens
