Pastel on sanded paper (Colourfix ‘terra cotta’ – Full Sheet 70 cm x 50 cm)
Another in the series of paintings I completed last year after spending a few days camping in the Tarcombe area of Hughes Creek, Victoria, Australia. This is an extremely remote location only accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicle. I am very fortunate that I know the owners of this land and I intend to return again at the end of this summer.

Thaks Ginny. I think water would be almost my favourite subject!
I have my bathers and towel…I think I will sit under the gum tree for a while before I go into this warm, sandy creek….It looks just like it did in my childhood!
