The iChing is the world’s oldest book. It is a complex system of divination.
You ask the ‘oracle’ a specific question from the heart, and you get a specific answer. The final answer looks like one of the hexagrams in the design. There are 64 chapters with names like “the creative”, “youthful folly”, “conflict”.
It has been used in China and the East for thousands of years.
Notably, Admiral Yamomoto consulted the I Ching to guide his naval strategies including Pearl Harbour and his following successful campaigns until 1943 when he was shot down. From then on things went badly for the Imperial Navy.
Anyone who has used the iChing in the right spirit will confirm the accuracy of the advice, and the feeling that some aspect of consciousness called ‘the oracle’ is present when you plug in.
Even without the divination, the Ching is a complete manual on human behaviour. Should be taught in school.
