I’m not much for blogging or journaling, but I’ll give it a try. The images I have on my profile now are my favorite photographs that I’ve taken so far. I was an art major in college so I cranked out a few good ones my final semester. A few of those I took when I was really young using my Dad’s camera. I’ve always loved taking pictures for as long as I can remember, even if it was a disposable camera and the pictures were of a cut up turkey on Thanksgiving or a rack of cooling chocolate chip cookies. Recently graduated from college and $25,000 in debt, I am discovering just how poor I am, so I haven’t taken any photographs in a while. I’m waiting until I have a good camera I guess. That might be a while.
I was also an English major in college (creative writing) and it was kind of a waste of time, but I posted my best poems that I wrote. Writing was something I thought about doing when I was real young, but it didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. I have a strange family, to me anyway, so I was caught up in writing about that. We’ll see if anything new comes along in that department.
It might be a while before any more photographs show up too. All I have is a Vivitar 35mm camera and not really any time (or motivation) to take more pictures. When I get my large format camera and a dark room in my garage, and a house attached to said garage, I will be more productive. Encouraging comments are welcome.
