Unusual plant, grows in South America, Chile. A large rosette of stiff, silver grey spiny-margined leaves. Remarkable for it’s unusual flowers which develope very quickly & bloom in December. They open cup-shape of shiny texture metallic blue-green a most unusual colour in flowers with contrasting orange-red anthers. Flowering in November in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. South Australia.
