Artist's Description

The plaque is of the sailing ship ‘Amity’ landed in Moreton Bay in 1824 with passengers from England wanting to make a new home in the new burgeoning colony of Australia. The Memory walls have been erected on the foreshore to honour the first pioneers who set up home & trade in the 1800’s.
