A steady winding track to the top of the cliffs on one side of the gorge, we were heading for the ‘Kings Seat’ with a spectacular view.
There are many tracks, climbs and walks throughout Cania Gorge, just out of ‘Monto’ East Australia. We found the majority of them moderate, just remember to take water and snacks with you when you set off and it can get misty & damp some days in Winter but a much better temperature for any exercise. We spent a week enjoying all sorts of trails & tracks, fauna, flora, birds, insects, etc., with somewhere different every day. Good camping in a choice of two tourist parks. Not sure about camping outside the parks.

Our first visit there was a long drive from Bundaberg just for the day. We really didn’t have any idea how much there was to see and just drove through to the Dam at the other end of the Bitumen.
