Artist's Description

I love the fact that koi fish are traditionally used in Asian art as a symbol to overcome adversity, have courage, determination – a symbol of growth…. I know I’ve overcome adversity in my past, as most of us have. The koi fish reminds us that we will survive, we can push harder, do better, and come out stronger. The cherry blossoms represent how life can be fragile, beautiful, and yet too short. Water lilies are a symbol of optimism, creation, and rebirth.
I am part Japanese, and always loved the simplicity and beauty of Asian art. The patterns, the movement, the effortless beauty. Enjoy this unique piece of Japanese inspired art and thank you for choosing real artists!
