My homeyard

There soft shallow grass
Hum and bird’s song
Horizon is a child’s mass
Speeding forward along

Descend we from earth and root
From under low lying roof
Where dad modeled and watered
And mame our hairs washed

Sweet peace and merriness
From childhood of soft while
We did not have shade of richness
Constant anyway gratitude

Plays in yard under birch
Work and endless day concern
Horse was standing in middle of shaft
Everyday was beginning a school

I remember way under the shade of birches
On culvert of banks coaltsfoots
Pearl of chainlet threaded warpes
Dark dark crest of woods

Spring adduced hepaticas
Reku’s amusing bay
Ringing were all instruments
Indeed invited distance way

Now I know that
anything can’t substitude
light from your home window
wickes of your candle blaze
