The Story I tell

I wish I could explain how I feel,
Every time I try you reject my appeal,
One minute you love me the next you don’t,
I know you could try but instead you won’t,
I know who you are and I know what you’ve become,
Now I wish you would go back where you came from,
We both have changed; you especially,
The choices you’ve made have affected me heavily,
I have to move on and face this mess,
Running and hiding seems great I confess,
No more this is the end,
I’m counting on time to heal and mend,
Enough is enough, I’m better than this,
Time to pick up the pieces and forget the bliss,
Reality had hit me of that I am sure,
Now all I need is to find that one cure,
I will be ok, and I will not fail,
I’ve chosen this path and I’ll stick to the trail,
You’ve lost someone great,
Someone you can never create,
Have a nice life, and live it well,
Because one day you will hear the story I tell,
And maybe that day you will feel like hell.
