Inspired by nature, I create embroidered and quilted textile art collages in an abstract improvisational style using a variety of paper, fabrics, threads, and embellishments. Unlike traditional quilts; I piece, appliqué and embroider directly on a layered foundation of quilt batting or fabrics which results in immediate dimensionality.
