Observations. Reservations. Hesitations

Maybe she grew sick of seeing
The same old thing
Friends punching in
Windows; on ketamin
Friends holding back friends
Convulsing

Friends with dead faces
Unrecognisable company
Times taken to make her
Now used to break her
Gaunt faces and pale skin
Decaying

Maybe she grew tired of
Sitting on benches alone in
Dark places; broken promises of
Good times. Maybe it
Got too much for fragility.
Skinny hugs

What’s a pretty flower like you
Doing in a place like this?
Maybe she didn’t really know
Maybe she knew nothing else
Maybe she loved her friends
So much

Maybe she got tired of
Crawling through bushes
Retrieving shoes for
Paralytic party people

Collecting rubbish
In church yards
She couldn’t let
Them leave it

Finding jackets
In freezing places
Lying in roads
Watching paces

Observations of a
Fucked up world
Observations of a
Fucked up youth

Hesitations
What the hell
Pass that here
Let me try it
If you do it
I can too

Pass me the pipe
Pass me the line
Pass me the pills

Feeling tricked
Feeling frames
Skin and bone
Feeling hot tears
Feeling despair
Watching slow
Death
