The chinese auntie working at the taylor shop behind my office made some ‘Bak Chang’ for me that day. She’s a Malaysian, I’m a malaysian. It’s nice to have home made Malaysian food. Got me feeling a bit nostalgic especially since I’m about to fly home in 2 weeks time. I started thinking about the amount of work that goes into making one of these bundle of rice, skillfully tied up in leaves & knots… :) and how kind of the auntie for sharing them with me.

I no longer work in that office, but I’ll never forget the friendly auntie and her delicious treats.
