Taken with Nikon D90 & 18-55mm @18mm and nd8 filter.

This was taken back in May on a blissfully quiet Sunday morning at 8.30. Why was I up at that hour? My daughter had gone to do a car boot with my sister, so I took the opportunity to wander into town while everyone else was having a lie in!
Friar Street is one of the oldest parts of Worcester that the council haven’t knocked down and put up some monstrous concrete monstrosity in it’s place, although saying that, there is a hideous concrete multi storey car park that backs onto it, which you can just see in the distance :(
Next to Cafe Rouge,(originally Bottles Wine bar, in my heyday!) is the old Greyfriars, which is open to the public on selected days. Further down on the same side, but hidden from view, are the old Alms Houses.
The original has a lovely blue sky, but I’ve always felt photos of this area of Worcester lend themselves to being aged
