Artist's Description

“One individual can begin a movement that turns the tide of history. Martin Luther King in the civil rights movement, Mohandas Ganhi in India, Nelson Mandela in South Africa are examples of people standing up with courage and non-violence to bring about needed changes.”

- Jack Canfield

Artist’s Commentary:
This was shot at Port Moody, BC. The tide was out and I found myself wowed by the beauty of things laid bare and contemplating the power of the tide. I hope to stir those thoughts in you as you contemplate this beautiful low tide landscape.

Some of us are washed around in our lives. Pushed and pulled with the coming of the waves. Some of us seem to harness the momentum ourselves, pulling others towards us and making the journey have meaning.
