I am a pencil artist from Illinois that specializes in highly detailed animals and local historic buildings. Although I studied art at Illinois State University much of my education has been gained at my sketchpad studying nature. I enjoy drawing companion animals but most of my work is of wildlife in my own backyard, around my family's cabin in Wisconsin, and from travels. While studying an animal for my artwork, I feel a connection with them and strive to capture their beauty and personality.
