Grace Time

Today, was meant to be like yesterday and all the yesterdays of my familiar past.
I am a creature of comfortable habit
Each day I take my grace time surrounded by hustle and bustle; not disturbed at all.
I can meditate with no formal training; I can block-out with the iron curtain flipping round and round its rod and I can escape without a rabbit hole.

I can combat almost anything.

His stare
was consistent with cases I’d read about
originating from the island of Stealing Grace

His stare challenged my resistance.

I refused to acknowledge his presence. I felt cold combustion. I seethed with thoughts of marching across his face, pricking out his eyes with my stiletto heels.
A trophy to display in the city square, an example of what will happen.

It is true! I have finally gone insane.

Or

I could be a champion.
