Nothing

she wishes her clothes
were held together by
a dangling cotton thread
one that would catch
as she slammed the door

behind him and all the he’s

unravelling her garments
once cherished and then tossed aside
landing in a heap on the floor

alone and bare
to her own touch
her fingers find all the places
once devoured

by he and him
then distastefully spat out

she wishes never to be clothed again
alone under the forever hand
of her own safe touch
licking her fingertips
savouring her own taste

worshipping
loving
accepting
her to her

alas in my daily arms
she cries tears
begging for the answer to
what is wrong with me?

Nothing
