“Pilatus is a mountain near Lucerne, Switzerland. The top can be reached with the Pilatus Railway, the world’s steepest cogwheel railway from Alpnachstad, operating from May to November (depending on snow conditions), and the whole year with the aerial panorama gondolas and aerial cableways” (see my image Climbing the Mountain) “from Kriens. Pilatus has the longest summer toboggan track in Switzerland (0.88 miles or 1,350 m) and the biggest suspension rope park in Central Switzerland.” Wikipedia
Taken from my Europe trip 2007. We stayed in the round building at the front which is a very nice hotel. Even though it was the middle of summer it was quite cold up there, probably because it was 7000ft or 2132m above sea level!
