STONES HIT HARD

Sticks and stones may break my bones and words can do the same.
Words express and release power: “the power of life and death are in the tongue”—Jesus.
So watch your mouth! Don’t let it be flimy flamy, speaking before thinking.
Words flung like stones can hurt, and kill, hitting hard with every blow.
Let your words instead produce life, flung with purpose—not as stones stoning, but as bricks building up a mighty person. This is the better and honorable way of things. Speak wisely. Out of the heart of a person, comes forth speech. This is not just the words spoken, but the reason for saying them as well.
