This is a Gypsy Vannor stallion, named Bandon. He belongs to a friend of mine who breeds Gypsies…Mort Curtis in Chappell Hill, Texas. Bandon is one magnificent horse. He also has a very gentle side towards people. When he runs, oh my gosh…those feathers and that long mane and tail go flying, and you can’t take your eyes off of him. Mort’s website is www.valoriesvannors.com if you want to see more of his horses.

What a magnificent animal, Linda – I’ve never seen one like him! He’s soooo beautiful!
I had never seen one before either. I LOVE to photograph horses. A friend who lives near me showed me some photos of them. I was dying to see one. Guess what!!! This horse and about 26 others like him (mostly females!!!) live just two miles down the road from me. They are magnificent movers. Unbelieveable the way they move. Bandon, this horse, was prancing and courting a female in this photo.
Wow this is a stunning capture. What a beautiful animal! So graceful
