These back-to-school designs are in a class of their own.
For the sixty-eighth symbol, I chose a Norse cipher rune (or galdrastafr) for courage. A cipher rune is a rune where the actual runes used have been represented by other things, like a certain number of lines. The Merriam-Webster definition of the word courage is; mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. The background was created with color and water blossoms, and some sgraffito.
Who do you think of when you read this? Maybe someone who’s helped you be courageous?
