*MERRY CHRISTMAS, NEWS AND SALES*

To those that manage to find time to read my journal at this busy time of the year I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Peaceful, Healthy New Year! This year has flown past so quickly and hope it has been a good one for you. Taking this opportunity also to share some of my news that has happened in the art scene recently.

Firstly we have had a couple of local art shows in the Blue Mountains and was over the moon to see 3 of my works find lovely new homes, The Wisdom Keeper, Starshine and Autumn Light. The Springwood Art Show is on every year and all proceeds of sales go towards helping the school. Another group exhibition that I enter annually is the Wentworth Falls Artfest and was delighted to find on arrival of collection that 1 of my entries had also sold, Autumn Stroll.

I am a member of the Blue Mountains Artist Network who recently had a group exhibition at Gallery One88 Fine Arts in Katoomba. This gallery is run by talented curator Victor Peralta and his lovely wife Sharon. With three floors of amazing works from a wide range of artists it is a highly regarded gallery in the community. I was happy to have 2 of my entries accepted, Govett’s Leap Lookout and Along the Creek, and had a big ‘smile on my dial’ when told they had both sold!

Was very excited recently to be approached by an amazing Writer and Director, Benjamin Mair who wanted to use my Lindart Studio in a short film, ‘Old Hand’, that he was making for Tropfest. Was a pleasure having the film crew arrive and watch them shoot the last scene in my studio and will look forward to the final edit in January when I will receive my copy.

I recently had a feature on the homepage and many thanks go to Redbubble for this and the opportunity to sell my work on this site. Please see below some of the recent sales.

Life is not always easy and we all have our challenges so I am grateful to have my art which is a wonderful way to express myself no matter what is going on from day to day. I feel blessed that I am able to paint and connect with so many people around the world. I would like to send my warm wishes to all that purchase my work, to my fellow artists on RB and to those that support me in every way possible. If not for you my art journey would have ended long ago and I am thankful. Wishing you and yours a wonderful time over the festive season, stay safe and stay well.
