Catharsis

Don’t forget me,
When I’m gone away.
Don’t forget me,
When my nights are day.
Please forgive me,
For my fatal flaws,
Please forgive me,
In my speechless pause.
Can we sing above,
The small talk of despair?
Can we conquer the fear,
Of living life as a dare?
Will you ground me,
When my feet touch the sky?
Will you comfort me,
When I can’t find a reason to try?
Will you aid me,
Through my right’s wrongs?
Will you sing with me,
To my favorite songs?
Will you be there,
By my side?
Or will you forget,
Why we tried?
I cannot drown in your tears,
Will not falter in the face of your fears.
I am strong, but you make me weak,
For you are the beacon that I seek.
I am human and nothing more,
Just a well of thought to explore.
Burning with the fires of love and hate,
Sailing on emotions deep and great.
My thoughts reach far and wide,
I have secrets that I wish to hide.
Not everything is perfect,
I do not have a clean slate.
I fall for tricks,
and there are things I hate.
Sometimes I riddle out rhymes.
Sometimes I make no sense,
Sometimes I don’t try at all.
Some times are my times,
Some times they’re yours.
But we can always share each other,
As long as we don’t get bored.
Vengeance is human,
Jealousy and spite.
I’ll try my best,
To overcome these malevolent sights.
But I am only human,
And my eye’s do cry.
For mercy has a way of forgetting,
To let our hardships die.
Long story short,
I’ll love you till the day we part.
But you’ve got to remember,
That I’m only human,
And this is just the start.
