Ghost

I need your warmth against my skin
To fight the cold that dwells within
with chains and locks holding me down
Nothing left for me in this dried up town.

All of this rage I cannot muster
Behind my Gods I take shelter
With my heart beating black
The knife slides into their back

In the whisper of the forsaken wind
I reveal myself and live my sin
In the shadows of dying trees
I take your life, leaving you to bleed.

The moon looks down smiling with glee
At the chaos of my mind, insanity.
I am the one to get the job done
My blood runs true to the fallen one.

In the contrast of black and white
I stand invisible, blessed with sight.
A phantom of this chaotic plane,
Deranged with love for the sane.

My mind remains an uncharted map
Paranoia a free flowing tap.
A unison of both good and bad.
Leaves my life, a journey to be had.
