Pain in Birds
by linaji

I really like this poem by Erich Biemer as I was looking though his pf today. I think his work paints pictures. the birds are wood ‘peckers’ indeed

For Erich
This music was on while I was working:

Love Anamatrix the movie

AND THEN… Ms Rosa Cobos
inspired me to write today, her energy is infectious like white blood cells.. (and that’s good!)

Pain in birds

fly like yellow sunshine,
flutter a part of love not seen
Pain like beaks that break from words unspoken
Pain that feels like a broken wing,
impossible healing
saturated with winters whispered death
Pain in birds have a song unheard
lost in a forest unforgiving to all things
but envelops life like the queen at court,
come hither and stay as long as I say
when I see you sing a song I care for not
banished you will be
go away…
to a place in the forest so dark and sweet
you will find life without the court
somewhat complete
You will learn to fly again
broken wing a memory of yore
Oh painful bird let the heart take the lead
Once again you soar

love you Rosa,
